I found the program to be too labor… I found the program to be too labor intensive with constantly having to keep track of each time I ate, moved, etc and it didn't work for me. I decided not to renew my 6 month membership because it wasn't a good fit for me however I apparently didn't cancel and they've charged me two more times since. I called and requested a refund and even though they can see I haven't logged in and used the program they won't issue a refund. I would not recommend doing business with any company that has an auto renew subscription that won't refund if you're not using their product.

Empowering and beyond useful I've loved seeing my mindset change without heavy restriction or feeling like I cannot be myself. I've felt so empowered to reach my goals and like I've actually been able to build good and lasting habits even with the struggle to make habits generally. Grateful to have noom in my life.

At first I was skeptical At first I was skeptical. I thought the lessons were teaching me pretty obvious things but as the days have gone on I'm feeling much better and the lessons are forcing me to change my relationship with food. I have been eating more fruit and vegetables in the past week than I have in the past 4 months combined and as a result I have way more energy and my skin looks and feels better. I'm getting married this summer and whilst I wasn't massively overweight, at 10st 5 (5 ft 2) I felt dumpy and had a lot of body fat. Especially around my hips, belly and thighs. Cutting added sugars and cheese as well as extra fats and switching out potatoes or pasta for bulgur wheat has done wonders and I've already lost 5 lbs in 1 week. More importantly I feel like my body is healthier and I'm cleansing the impure stuff from my body. I feel far less bloated, more awake and have so much more energy. I think I'm a convert!

An effective weight loss tool An effective weight loss tool. In the end, it's just applying psychology and tracking. But that may be all you need. I would appreciate the lessons being less American and more international in the voice and words used but it's not a big thing. I haven't used the coaches function so no comment on whether it works

Expensive gimmick! Nothing really tailor-made or psychological about this app. The "recipes" I got were all completely unimaginative ones that I already make - with additional, unnecessary carbs! The "exercise program" is just a .pdf of various HIIT and other workouts - none of which I had already advised NOOM I could do due to injury/cardio issues! Cancelled immediately. I'm already doing everything right if the app is anything to go by. Nothing here that anyone with an ounce of common sense doesn't already know.
