GBI should have read reviews first I should have read reviews first. Sent book in. Today I received my Package RTS, saying postage was owed and received refused. Oh, and guess what? Package was ripped open and book was taken out! Filler was in but no book. Let's entertain the idea for a second that Textbook Maniac didn't take the book (doubtful)...there's still the problem of them not giving enough for postage and refusing to pay the difference once it arrived. This whole thing screams scam. Avoid at all costs. Response to Textbook Maniacs response: Sticker said that recipient refused so someone isn't being truthful here.

GBI just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and… I just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and tracked it and said it would be delivered to them today. Got an alert that said at 2:48pm that said "delivery attempted- no access to delivery location". I so wish I would have checked the reviews before I sent out my buyback I got a strong feeling I'm not going to get my money. What business isn't available during business hours? Not to mention I just discovered there is no way to contact Textbook Maniac about. Guess I'll sit on my hands and hope that dont take advantage of me how I'm predicting. Omg

GBCriminals and Scammers I have not received payment after waiting over 3 weeks. There are several other 1 star reviews detailing a similar experience as mine. The textbooks will appear 'in transit' for a long time. Then eventually they are deemed 'damaged' or something along those lines. The company will then refuse to send the books back and you are left without your books and without your money. This is a criminal enterprise masquerading as a legitimate business. Save your money, save your books, and avoid these bottom feeders.

GBI don't recommend selling to them I don't recommend selling to them. The shipping label they send is for Media Mail, which is notoriously unreliable. They quoted me an unbelievably high payout, so I picked them over other options. Well, Media Mail made it all the way to Huntsville AL, which is where Textbook Maniac is located and then... stopped updating tracking. I'm pretty sure the package was delivered without being scanned, but Textbook Maniac told me they never got it. I emailed them several times and got contradictory responses.
