It barely got processed a week ago, and I still haven’t gotten paid despite them stating that it takes 5 business days to get paid via PayPal (which is the option I chose). Checked my order status this morning, and it says to contact customer. After reading the horrible reviews I have no doubt in my mind that they are going to try and completely change my quote ... if and when they do contact me. Just the fact that they copy and paste their customer replies is enough to let me know that this company isn’t worth doing business with. I will update my review if anything changes.

Don't send them your books, they are theives!!! I wish I could leave less than 1 star. I sent them my perfect condition textbook (that I originally bought from my university) and they claimed that my book was "counterfeit" and that they could not pay me for it but also could not send it back to me because it's "against their policy". Even after providing proof of purchase from the bookstore they still would not pay for or return my book. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR BOOKS THEY ARE CROOKS AND THEIR "POLICY" IS STEALING FROM COLLEGE STUDENTS!!!!

Great Company To Do Business With I've used this company for buybacks for over a year and have nothing but praise for the integrity of their service. This is one of the few buyback companies will still pay you a generous portion of their quoted price if the book does not completely meet all their condition requirement. (Other companies will discard the book for one violation.) They are easy to deal with and pay promptly. I've sent dozens of buybacks to them and never experienced any difficulty with them. A very competent and trustworthy company!

I just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and… I just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and tracked it and said it would be delivered to them today. Got an alert that said at 2:48pm that said "delivery attempted- no access to delivery location". I so wish I would have checked the reviews before I sent out my buyback I got a strong feeling I'm not going to get my money. What business isn't available during business hours? Not to mention I just discovered there is no way to contact Textbook Maniac about. Guess I'll sit on my hands and hope that dont take advantage of me how I'm predicting. Omg

what does it mean when it says AWAITING… what does it mean when it says AWAITING PAYMENT? I went through book deal about 4 weeks ago and haven't got payment yet is saying awaiting payment no one is answering messages HELP!!!
