GBCriminals and Scammers I have not received payment after waiting over 3 weeks. There are several other 1 star reviews detailing a similar experience as mine. The textbooks will appear 'in transit' for a long time. Then eventually they are deemed 'damaged' or something along those lines. The company will then refuse to send the books back and you are left without your books and without your money. This is a criminal enterprise masquerading as a legitimate business. Save your money, save your books, and avoid these bottom feeders.

GBwhat does it mean when it says AWAITING… what does it mean when it says AWAITING PAYMENT? I went through book deal about 4 weeks ago and haven't got payment yet is saying awaiting payment no one is answering messages HELP!!!

GBI just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and… I just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and tracked it and said it would be delivered to them today. Got an alert that said at 2:48pm that said "delivery attempted- no access to delivery location". I so wish I would have checked the reviews before I sent out my buyback I got a strong feeling I'm not going to get my money. What business isn't available during business hours? Not to mention I just discovered there is no way to contact Textbook Maniac about. Guess I'll sit on my hands and hope that dont take advantage of me how I'm predicting. Omg

GBSold textbooks & received payment promptly This was a completely pain-free process. I mailed back my books using the provided print-out labels, and within a week received an email from Textbook Maniac that they received the package. After a few days or so, they told me that my payment was on its way and a check arrived in the mail within the 3-7 business day span for the amount I agreed to sell them. The negative reviews on here may be coming from people trying to sell back books in poor condition. It may be important to make sure your books are in good shape before you try to sell them.

GBAvoid selling your books here Had to send several messages, including threats just to receive a reply. Bad customer service, also extremely slow processing. I am still waiting for my payment after over three weeks. Edit: The reply from this business asserts that any positive review published on TrustPilot is “bought”. My reviews are honest, I will write the exact same thing whether it’s through Yelp, here, or elsewhere. You give poor service, you receive bad feedback. You give great service, you receive positive feedback. Simple as that. They finally paid me, but my review is final. Wow, how fast they replied to a bad review, when they couldn’t reply for days to their customer!
