Lekki8 brakes I purchased the L8 ultra directly from Ted. I used them for about 3 months but after not being able to get enough power out of them I contacted Ted for some advice. Although I had no intention on returning them, Ted offered to exchange them for the Lekki8. The Lekki8s are way more powerful, adjustable and superlight weight. I’m really happy now. More than anything, I appreciate Ted’s commitment to make his customers happy. I will definitely be back for more. Thanks

Never received my item, still haven't received a full refund. I purchased a product from Ted Ciamillo directly, and was promised a 3 week lead time on it. That date came and went and I repeatedly got new ETAs for my order. Finally I asked for a refund since it became apparent my item was never actually going to get built. I was then told he would mail a check for my refund, which I never got. I was then told he never mailed the check but would refund me via Zelle, which once again he has promised several dates that have come and gone. I cannot stress this enough, do not buy anything from this company unless you can use a credit card and have purchase protection. You may never get your product or your money back. Update to say that I received a partial refund, however Ted has once again missed his promises date for the rest of the refund.

Anyone else not receiving their orders… Anyone else not receiving their orders from Ted? I paid for the 'on-sale' crankset 6/2/23. Was told estimated shipping 6/28/23 and I never received it. I emailed a follow-up on 7/14/23 and received an email from Ted on 7/25/23 stating should be out by the end of that week provided his machine was back on line. I followed up again on 8/28/23 and now nothing from Ted to date just radio silence. I purchased the lekki8 brakes from Ted (review below) and transaction was uneventful. I'll update this review if anything changes but I wanted to share with the community my ongoing experience. 9/24 Update - I received an email from Ted on 9/12 in regards this review. He stated he was hoping to get the crankset sent out by the end of the week or 9/15. Still nothing. I have notified my bank about what is going and filed a claim. They are currently investigating.

Ciamillo G20 Brakes I have been using the G20 brakes for about 3 years. This brakeset is being used with Campagnolo levers. These levers were a big improvement over the Campy brakes. I found the Ciamillo brakes offered much better stopping power with my Mavic carbon wheels. Setup was key to getting the brakes to function at their best. I was initially frustrated with the performance. When I went back and re-read the installation instrucions, that made all the difference. Moving the set screw in or out to adjust clearance is key to getting optimal performance from these brakes.

weight weenie heaven Ted was very accommodating to my weight weenie needs. He went above and beyond creating and tuning my brakes. I couldn't be happier with the result. The brakes weigh only 119.8g! (custom red devil l8 ultra) with pad holders, without brake pads. Incredible. Ted sent the brakes back overnight to get them to me before an upcoming trip, which i really appreciate. - Andy
