Don’t waste your money on hardware store rope I bought these ropes for a baby swing, I couldn’t find anything in local hardware stores with a super high weight limit and I wanted the safest products I could buy. They were so inexpensive I was dubious but they seem to be great quality and so far so good on the swing. Very fast shipping for this person who’s accustomed to Amazon 2-day shipping, ha. I have a ton of rope now but if I ever need more I’ll be back for it.

No problem with service at all No problem with service at all, but I found the nylon rope to be very loosely woven compared to UK rope. I did a number of eye splices and the individual strands that make up the three strands also loose. The profile of the rope is very knobbly compared to the cylinder shape I prefer.
