GBBought a Star Camp porch awning in… Bought a Star Camp porch awning in November. Used it a few times now and every time it rains, rain water comes down the outside of the caravan into the awning, along the top of the awning. We have another make of awning and this has never happened with that awning, so it is not an issue with the rail. Have rung Dorema and they are not interested and are blaming our rail. This item is not fit for purpose as it is letting rain in. I will be taking this further as it is within standard purchase rights as it is not fit for purpose.

GBDoreema dream? Not! I purchased a doreema awning last November , costing just over £600, we used it last week for only the fourth time and noted that a section of the stitching in one corner was open and rain was coming in. I contacted Doreema, Darren at customer services and his very first reaction was to blame me and claimed, without seeing more than the photos I sent to him, that I had overstretched the support poles (I hadn't) Subsequent e mails back and forth have been of a similar nature, me complaining and him blaming me for damaging my new awning. I love the awning but the customer service I have received initially has been nothing less than offensive. I am now stuck with an awning that leaks and a customer service advisor that doesn't give a hoot and just blames me! Avoid. I am contacting trading standards about the way this has been handled, watch this space

GBAVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE Ordered my product early June for a holiday end of July. I was assured I would have it in time and then nobody bothered to tell me when it did not. It's now October and I still don't have it. If you buy one from a retailer if you need to send it back or have a back order you will be referred to Dorema's Customer service which I believe is one person called Darren who genuinely could not give a stuff. The quality of the product is mediocre at best and for the premium price just not worth it at all. IMHO and by the looks of it everyone elses review on here - stay well clear.

GBShocking customer service, Dorema uk. I bought a Dorema air awning costing around £1600 i'm very happy with the awning but the 4 separate upright poles that hold the front up were all the same length meaning 2 didn't reach the roof, i got in touch with Dorema uk and was told (by Darren) i hadn't put it up right,i tried to tell him 2 of the poles should be longer than the other 2 but he wouldn't have it, a very arrogant man, in the end i was right and they sent me the 2 longer replacement poles. Shocking customer service, i love the product but wouldn't buy anything else from this company now.
