Doreema dream? Not! I purchased a doreema awning last November , costing just over £600, we used it last week for only the fourth time and noted that a section of the stitching in one corner was open and rain was coming in. I contacted Doreema, Darren at customer services and his very first reaction was to blame me and claimed, without seeing more than the photos I sent to him, that I had overstretched the support poles (I hadn't) Subsequent e mails back and forth have been of a similar nature, me complaining and him blaming me for damaging my new awning. I love the awning but the customer service I have received initially has been nothing less than offensive. I am now stuck with an awning that leaks and a customer service advisor that doesn't give a hoot and just blames me! Avoid. I am contacting trading standards about the way this has been handled, watch this space

I got a awning with an anix I paid £… I got a awning with an anix I paid £ 1559 for it when I put it up the first time the had sent the rong poles then the second time I put it up it ripped so I email dorema the first sed it was wind damage then the told me some thing sharp had cut it and told me I had put it up rong I have been caravaning for over 3o years so I think I know how to put a awning up so will never have another awning from them

Purchased a Dorema air awning a few… Purchased a Dorema air awning a few months ago. Used 3 times and had issues with water coming into the awning. Rain was coming in through the ties on the curtain seams. The seam had also come away from from rail. We have contacted Dorema with the issues and they blamed us for not putting the awning up correctly. They denied liability and said the awning wasn’t pegged down even tho the pictures clearly show the awning pegged down. The awning is not fit for purpose. Shocking customer service. Stay clear.

Appalling customer service Appalling customer service, would give no stars if we could. Bought an awning and the stitching came away. Dorema doesn’t give a flying fig once they have your money. Dorema blaming us putting the awning up incorrectly. Got to pay for the awning to be sent back to them, even though we ordered via a shop. HOW MUCH WILL THAT COST!!!! Will never buy or recommend them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Above and beyond Contacted Dorema using their web sites' online form as I wished to buy one of their awnings. The next days (Monday) reply informed me that they did not sell direct to the public but I would have to purchase through one of their retailers. An enquiry to my nearest dealer informed me that they wouldn't be able to stock my sized awning until November (7 months away). However, an email direct from Dorema Customer Service (Darren) shortly after, without any request from me, informed me that he had tracked down my requested sized awning (last one) from one of their retailers Renishaw Caravans, giving me the dealers name, contact number and contact name. I contacted Mark at Renishaw immediately and purchased the awning and other connected items from him. I was amazed to have the awning etc. on my doorstep at 09:30 the next morning. The awning was fitted to my caravan later that day, with all the accessories, with no problems at all. Exemplary service. Very difficult to find in this day and age. Would highly recommend from my personal experience. Thank you Darren and Mark.
