You dont collect enough information for… You dont collect enough information for any mover to determine if they can handle the move eg what floor, walk up or elevator, other things in home but not covered by how many bedrooms. So I will just have to weed them out myself.

I found a mover and happy with my choice I found out about Move Matcher from my apartment community manager. The process was simple. I entered my information, criteria and Move Matcher presented best matches for my move. I like the fact that movers were listed based on rating. Some movers included hourly rates and other included licensing credentials. You also have the option of sending a single move quote email to all movers instead of having to reach out individually. I was able to find a mover through this service and I am happy with my choice.

Unsafe Do not use. Ripped off by movers they recommend. Gave false estimate! Payed double what was quoted. Showed up late, unprofessional, broke furniture, I felt unsafe, wouldn’t unload until I paid in full.

Move Matcher service is cool but companies didn't respond Move Matcher was easy to operate and helpful for finding small businesses in my area with reasonable moving prices. Unfortunately, none of them answered my email request or calls inquiring about moving (reached out a couple times over a 2 day period) and I ended up finding a company outside Move Matcher Service. Nothing wrong with the Move Matcher service, but if the companies don't respond it's not much help.

I am relocating to Virginia from… I am relocating to Virginia from Florida! And these moving companies, are pricing us as if we were going over seas! It's a 2 bedroom apt 800 square ft. All together 41 items including boxes! Need to be realistic and honest. Thank you!
