GBToni and Guy's in Covent Garden I visit Toni and Guy's in Covent Garden when my husband and I are taking part in The Lost Estate's immersive theatre productions. I have had my hair done for various periods from the Victorian era and also the 1930's. The staff are amazing in producing the perfect finishing touch to my costume. There is always a drink and a welcome from all the staff. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this salon

GBYou will pay with your tears Everything went wrong.I walked in around 2 for a haircut but since I wanted to request their so called art director, they asked me come at around 7 (which is when they take their last client) I booked the appointment and came back on the said time. Mind you this time I had booked him for 7. The entire process felt sooooo RUSHED. For as big of a name TONI&GUY is they don’t have Wi-Fi in their salons, upon asking the “director” if I could quickly go outside to get network and show him my hair inspiration pictures, he said NO to me. Said oh I don’t need to look just say what you want and rushed me immediately to go for hair wash. I was frantically trying to get a signal inside as (hello! We don’t live in 50s anymore, I cant expect you to give me my dream haircut if you don’t even know what it looks it!) he asked me THRICE to put my phone down in downright teacher manner. I knew I was doomed the moment he cut my front layers (though he might be the art director, he knew absolutely nothing about face framing and giving a tailored look for your face). The entire time he was rushing to get it done, got my hair cut and ready in 20 mins, he gave me 180 degree opposite look of what I wanted. If he was in such a rush to go home, he shouldn’t have taken another client! The cherry on the top is when he asked me how it looks (I was visibly annoyed by that time) I told him in stern manner ‘it’s alright’ - to which his response was “oh good, I am happy you like the hair cut let’s go to the pay counter” - even the lady at the cash counter asked how was everything and k said “it was okay, could have been better for what TONI&GUY is” to which her response was “oh good you love it” - I mean Do you even LISTEN to your customers? - can’t believe I let him mess around with me like that, just wanted to give him a benefit of doubt that he knows his art. He bloody didn’t even listen to what I was explaining, same goes for the entire team there

GBHad an appointment booked in for a… Had an appointment booked in for a colour weeks in advance and receive a call on the day of my appointment telling me my patch test was out of date and they were cancelling. I had called the salon a week before to confirm the time of appointment and the patch test wasn’t mentioned, they even txt a few days prior to appointment to confirm themselves. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this salon. Unprofessional.

GB✨✨Tori has worked her magic yet again! ✨✨Wonderful Tori has worked her magic yet again!! She knows exactly what suits you and your hair, and always such a fabulous cut!! Shania’s colouring was amazing with real attention to a perfect finish. I’ve been a loyal Toni and Guy client for decades and Covent Garden branch is the best. The whole team is friendly and welcoming & I absolutely loved my bubbly hair washer whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. I’d definitely recommend and I’ll be coming back ✨✨
