Forced renewal of Symantec premier products. Symantec premier products had degraded over the years. Not only some of the functionality hardly works and they are difficult to configure. For those reasons, I decided to replace them and currently reviewing competing products. However before I can do anything, sysmantec charged my credit card without my authorization to renew my product for 2019. So I called their billing department to argue their actions and they provided many excuses not to refund my $109.99 charge they made to my credit card. Be very aware about this despicable practices by symantec where when they can hardly sell their products, they start to do such disgusting practices to make their money by forcing their products to us.

When the beginning, I did not know what was happening, then I asked for help, their support told me that our version had already been ended of life as of 12/2019. They ignored me my questions, just told me to install the latest version 10.7.3 (not upgrade, our version had already been told a year ago that our current version cannot be upgraded because of the old CPU). Will stop to renew the service when the license expired, just leave the SMG to be a simple SMTP server or buy a new server with another Secure Email Gateway.

Absolutely dreadful company Absolutely dreadful company. This final incident was a business-to-business engagement, they screwed up which caused my customer problems. My customer wants answers about what broke but Symantec won't talk to me! Am checking about contract breach now but it shouldn't come to this, they have no pride in themselves.

Not impressed! Am not at all impressed with the performance of the various Symantec products that my company had started using. As a start-up, we had chosen to go with Symantec based on the advice of our tech partners, but I must say the products are not up to the mark. Not at all good for any company that wants to flourish in business.
