GBGarbage Garbage. Worked at first, but since early 2023 has increasingly slowed down my mac (which is kept up to date) and all its applications. Causes spinning beach balls. Crashes applications. It has been uninstalled and reinstalled. It was set it up as instructed. It was updated. All to no avail. On the last reinstall, it blocked all web access, so I couldn't even make changes to the web-based preference board. I had to uninstall it to get back online. Avoid this at all costs.

GBSophos is great if you have advanced… Sophos is great if you have advanced knowledge or if you work with a great Sophos Partner. Most of the bad experiences that I have experienced are with improper setups which isnt usually the customers fault rather the Sophos Partner that gives them poor instructions. I'm glad Sophos is providing more customers with health checks so that they can understand the issues that they are experiencing.

GBVirus removal tool saved my computer in minutes! I don't know about the company itself and probably no antivirus will be affective enough against the growing sins of the generation, but for me, it was a miracle I downloaded at some point their virus removal tool (free) - which I was 'going to put onto a stick for just in case' but didn't manage to. One day, I 'forgot' about all the germs that come down with the presents (downloads) and skipped the extra scanning (usually VirusTotal) and suddenly found myself with a non responding computer! I tried Microsoft virus remover tool (it wouldn't even allow me to open start / settings to use my regular antivirus!) but after 15 hours it was up to nowhere. Then I tried Sophos and could not believe my fortune when after maybe 10 minutes it had found (at least the main) virus, removed it and gave me a button to reboot (remember I couldn't open my start to do that myself!). It restarted completely back up and running like nothing would've happened! Thank you Sophos!

GBAbsolute nightmare Absolute nightmare, nothing ever works properly or first time, new support portal you have to register for and then wait ages to be approved before you can log a ticket. Support has really gone down the pan. Wish we had never renewed hardware with them. In 3 years will move to another vendor.
