GBIf I could give it 0 stars I would We sent in a project for data recovery. We expected a 2-week turnaround as advertised. However, after about a month of you still having our hard drive and we had heard nothing back we finally called. They stated that because the hard drive was in poor physical condition it would take about a week longer for the data to be recovered. Another month went by and still, there was 0 communication. We finally received a notice that our data had been recovered 2 months after they received the hard drive. On top of that, we requested overnight shipping because we were assured by them that the project would show up the next day. Take note that the next day is a Saturday and technically our business was not open we had an employee track the package so we could have someone here for its arrival. They provided us with the incorrect tracking number so the package was not delivered till the following Tuesday. We are also a business that deals with tech so we are very understanding that sometimes things take more time, however, this is not a cheap service that we are paying for and that absolute lack of communication was unacceptable.

GBAVOID - They are DISHONEST Horrible communication. They do not reply to emails. They do not deliver on time. They finish later than promised. They charge exorbitant prices. They claim to be the most cost effective solution, however they hold your files hostage until you pay their ransom demand. Completely dishonest. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

GBWhile I was given a lot of hope While I was given a lot of hope, it turned out to be a false positive. I paid the expedited fee for 72 hour turn around, had to call a week later for a status update. Was asked to download a viewing program and to make an appointment and Cameron would call to do an online viewing. Instead, a link was emailed to me a 1/2 hour after said appointment and the files weren’t viewable. In my opinion Cameron takes ion far too much. Getting ahold of someone was no small feat. All the photos I was told could be recovered unfortunately weren’t.

GBI am very pleased with the service and… I am very pleased with the service and communication I received from the Outsource Data Recovery team. They were always available to answer questions and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. The bottom line is that they saved all my photos, so in my case, it was worth every penny. Hopefully I won't need their services again, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!
