Highly recommend this service Qualtranscribe staff quickly and professionally transcribed 25 interviews for my dissertation research in under a month, slightly later than the initial deadline they gave me, but far faster than any other transcriber I have worked with. There were a few typos in each transcription, something I wish had been checked over earlier, but overall the quality was very high. I will certainly use them again and recommend them to other.

Amazing service!!! QualTranscribe was exactly what I needed. I am a doctoral student in the U.S. and needed interviews and focus group conversations I conducted with Nigerian teenagers transcribed. I ran into issues with the previous service I used because they could not understand the accents of the kids. That led me to search for African-based transcription services and Qualtranscribe came up. From the first contact, they were very professional and personable. What an awful experience as a novice… What an awful experience as a novice researcher! 1. Communication was awful. No responses for days on end. No presence on social media to support the lack of email and site support. 2. Transcripts were inaccurate. The use of "indiscernible" was beyond concerning. 3. Despite clear instructions the PI's were not removed in the transcriptions and the ones that were, were inconsistent and incorrect. 4. Entire sentences were missed from the transcription that would have impacted the data analysis via Nvivo for coding important themes. 5. Spelling mistakes 6. Not including clear audible transcriptions for non-verbal such as [laughter]. 7. The editing and time lost for each transcript was not worth sending them. 8. The company did not charge me after my experience but honestly this doesn't negate the angish caused. If it wasn't for IRB and ethics that I had stated I was using only this company and the NDS provided I would have left it alone day 1.
