I plugged it into the computer but it wouldn’t turn on. PITS Data Recovery came to my rescue when I thought I had lost priceless personal/family pictures and videos. I called in and they sent me a shipping label free to send my device to their lab. They contacted me a few days later to inform me about the damage level and the cost of the recovery. Data recovered! I reached out to get information on data recovery for a damaged external hard drive. I have to hand it to them, they were persistent, but it's exactly what I needed to not drag my feet. Great communication. Updates. Assistance when needed and a quick process. The folks at PITS did a fabulous job… The folks at PITS did a fabulous job and retrieved a decade’s worth of priceless family photos I had stored on an external hard drive that failed. I was unable to fix this myself and the local computer repair shop was uninterested. PITS to the rescue. Excellent work and a fine system for dealing with the customer. PITS is not cheap, but if you have data you must have back, who’s to say what you should pay? I was ecstatic to get my photos back. I wholeheartedly recommend PITS.

I believe the timeline for the recovery… I believe the timeline for the recovery was better than other company's. In addition, the communications between PIT and us clients is well above excellent.
