No other rental car company has this policy. Very unprofessional staff. Rudest I’ve ever encounter. And i rent cars at least once per month. Ending price was 300% more than quoted on orbitz.

Charged double the initial price The car was good but the communication process around insurance cost was terrible. I paid $150 at the checkout, where nothing was saying about the additional costs I’d have to pay on site. I ended up paying $300 nonrefundable. It’s a ripoff.

The location near Houston IAH airport…Renter Beware The location near Houston IAH airport is horrendous. They are rude, unprofessional, and a complete rip off. They don’t even have a shuttle to pick you up for the airport. I booked a 7 passenger suburban when I arrived they said it has mechanical issues, offered a smaller call that could not accommodate my party or our luggage. They then said they would come pick up 2 members of my party, rent us the smaller car, and then we could drive back to the airport and pick the rest of our party up. They were texting from a personal number asking to send a picture of my license and insurance. They were unwilling to work out anything to accommodate my party and left us at the airport and still tried to charge us for the rental. Do not use them.

A few surprises!! A efficient check in ......however a couple of surprises like temporary rental deposit150.00 charge on your credit card until the car is returned then its been over a week and NO refund of that charge yet!! You must remember to bring your own insurance evidence or you will have to take theirs...luckily I had phone app with my insurance info!! Lots of extra fee charges!!

Good service and cars, but hidden fees This is my first time using Nextcar in CRC, the people and the quality of the car is good. But hope the company can be more informative about CRC mandatory car insurance. I booked via Expedia, but not happy with Expedia about not disclosing about CRC mandatory car insurance. It was a surprise during car pickup time that they required 30 per day extra to pay the insurance even though I have extra insurance by an international auto insurance provider. So, beware follow travelers about this hidden cost auto renting in CRC. not sure about the actual CRC gov. rule on this if it is mandatory or not. So, my expectation both Nextcar and Expedia should let us know what is actual cost. Otherwise, it is at good location, people are nice and cars are good.
