Shady business practice Listed my car on auto trader and received an "interested party" email. The potential buyer would only come to see the car if I paid for a "WB' report. I said I had a carfaxreport and was happy to provide it for them and they declined, saying they had bad experiences before with car fax and that if I wanted them to come see car I would have to pay for the report first. I even offered for them to buy "their preferred" report and deduct off sales price if purchased.NO SHOW Not sure if the scam was to boost web sales or phish for my CC info..Either way BEWARE. also they never answered the phone number..always went to a generic VM for a text to call line. Super Shady

Someone working for the company tried… Someone working for the company tried to trick me into buying a report using a 346 area code. Do not use them!

As per other reviewers As per other reviewers, I had the same exact experience on auto trader. Also 346 area code. Scam. Please be aware.

Unethical Business Practice. Scamming people to buy reports. Shady company. The only reason I bought a report is because someone was saying he would buy my car on autotrader if I ran a wheelbrief report. They kept calling it "WB report" as if this was a known name (I have been buying and selling cars for many years). The reports are inferior to Carfax and Autocheck and after I ran the report (which was clean) the "buyer" went missing. I then realized the person was not interested in buying my car, but was just pushing people to run reports and spend money on wheel brief.com. This is very dishonest way to do business!

Seems like 100% scam Seems like 100% scam. Listed my car on AutoTrader and got a “buyer” insisting that I buy this report before they would come see the car. I asked what was in it and they were very vague about how it would be different than the information I was already providing. I Googled the company because the whole thing sounded fishy, and got zero hits except for this TrustPilot page saying that it was a scam. Glad I did not fall for it (my husband would have!)
