GBBeware - Dishonest Fraudulent Tactics Beware, Eddie Richard lied from me the moment that I called CBUSA. He offered me $56,300 for my 2022 RAV4 Prime pending inspection. Eddie clarified the only way that price would drop was if they found damage to the vehicle, or there was a title issue. The car is 3 weeks old with 1400 miles. Their inspection came back immaculate and the car has a clean title in hand. When the funding manager Hal Ross called me, he said CBUSA would only be able to pay me $54,000 for my car. His reason: Eddie Richard lied about the number and was "never authorized" to change the value of my car. Eddie Richard lied numerous times to me on the phone and assured me that the multiple BBB reviews stating these same bait and switch tactics were fake and that it was only from customers who lied about their cars condition. The owner and CEO Bill Coleman wrote two blanket statement replies to my BBB complaint about how they try to maximize value for their clients, but never addressed the fake offer they baited me in with or acknowledged me at all. Stay clear from these dishonest, fraudulent staff members and company - CBUSA.

GBScam, Bait and Switch Scam! Bait and Switch...CarBuyerUSA made me an offer for my newer Truck (only has 233 miles). They sent out an inspector, who stated the vehicle was flawless, basically a new vehicle. Then I received a call from the buying manager/funding team and they offered me $5,800 less that the original offer. When I questioned why and asked about the inspection I was told the inspection was all positive but that based on market condition he would not change the now lower offer. This all transpired over a 24 hour period, the original higher offer was only used to start the discussion and agree to let someone come inspect the vehicle, then they commenced to try to beat me down on a lower price.

GBLike others experience this is a total… Like others experience this is a total bait and switch. Dropped offer over 4K after great inspection. Said things like they will need to replace the tires (less than 20K on them, Car has minor scratches, etc.. Yeah there are a few small blemishes as most cars with 57K would have, but interior is perfect. Unless you are trading in a Tesla or another high demand vehicle, I wouldn't waste your time. The experience felt just like being at an old school dealer. Defeats the whole purpose of the "Online Experience"

GBI always do my homework when it involves money and my personal info! For anything I do online I always have my doubts and I try to leave no stone unturned when it comes to money or my personal information; so, I had multiple conversations with these guys. Not once were they pushy, not once did I feel a "hard salesmanship" approach. They were very patient with me and it literally felt like they held my hand throughout the entire process. They made me feel like I had to be comfortable and sure selling my car to them was safe. Once I took the leap, and really happy I did, it couldn't have been easier, and they paid me what they quoted me (highest one I found at a dealership and online btw), and deposited it directly into my bank. I feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone selling their vehicle. They do what they say, the way the say they'll do it. Very happy with my experience! So that was back in July 2018, when I chose to sell my car online to these guys. Since I was so happy with them in July, on October 30, 2018, I bought a car from them! The process was easy and quick, and Mike, one of the two owners, took the time to talk to me about what fit into my budget and needs. Shane (road along on my test drives and was very informative) and Brandon (sold it to me!) were all an absolute pleasure to work with. They were patient with me, answered all my questions, and made sure I knew all the details about my 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo (LOVE IT!!) and the paperwork I was signing. I'm a tough customer and I've been known to ask, "Do you like your job? Do you want to keep it?" HUGE customer service freak, it's got to be dang near a perfect experience or I walk away with my money still in my pocket. These guys rock and obviously since I'm a very happy repeat customer, I highly recommend them! Thanks y'all! You fellas are fantastic!

GBGuess what? Final offer lower than initial offer They called me to make an offer on my 2009 Honda accord. Their offer was higher then carmax, autonation and carvana. They asked me to send many pictures and confirmed their offer as long as no problems were found by their inspector. They scheduled their 3rd party inspector to come to my house to view the car. The inspector gave the car a great review (low milage, always been garaged, top notch interior and exterior condition). After the inspection they called to lower their offer. They (Brian) said the inspection went very well but based on resale "market conditions" they had to lower their offer by $750 from their initial confirmed offer of $9500. In short, it appears that they hook you with an overly high offer and then reduce what they are willing to pay once they check to see how much they can resell it for (all with in a 2-3 day period.) Do yourself a favor and check all the more legitimate companies including autonation, carvana. Check out the many many reviews with similar or worse stories.
