FRNo reply from Customer Service after bike theft My 2 bikes were stolen back in August and I did all that was required to report the theft to Kryptonite. However I was never contacted within the 5-7 days as mentioned in the confirmation email. After 30 days, if the bikes were not found therefore I should be eligible for reimbursement but still no new from Kryptonite. I subscribed for the 5 years ATPO but it seems I should not have invested in that unfortunately. [EDIT] It took close to 6 months to get the reimbursement but it came and I can now look into getting 2 new bikes. So it was very long to get an answer but it eventually came. Thank you Kryptonite.

GBZero stars for service Zero stars for service although lock is very good. Ordered additional keys through Key Safe offer. Original claim acknowledged 11 August 2023 and sent follow up email but no response. May need to try some other avenue as companies shouldn’t be allowed to offer deals if they don’t follow through. Very poor customer service. Expect I’ll get the same automated response from Kryptonite via trustpilot as others received. Please prove me wrong Kryptonite!

NLTerrible company Terrible company. The warranty is basically a scam. They take weeks or months to reply to your emails once the lock fails. Then they send you away again to try things which make no difference. Then it's more weeks and multiple follow-ups before receiving a reply. Rather than apologising the for the failure of the lock. The employees seem to have contempt for the fact that customers claim on the warranty used to sell the product. Edit: We were eventually sent a new lock, although it took way too long and too much time invested.

NLNon-existent customer service, so warranty effectively worthless. AVOID Purchased a lock just under a year ago, key stuck in the lock and not able to extract. Local locksmith told me it wasn't fixable. Tried to contact customer service (as comfortably within warranty period) with all the details specified in the contact form, but have had ZERO response for 26 days, despite commenting on the zendesk ticket. Phoned them to follow up on the issue, simply told "someone will get back to you at some point". Tried phoning again and stuck on permanent hold Nothing I can do at this point but purchase a new lock. Plenty of other companies selling locks - suggest you take your business elsewhere.

GBPay more for anti-theft protection after already paying for the lock Be aware. You will need to pay upwards of £10 for "registering" for anti-theft protection (on an annual basis). I thought the whole point of a kryptonite lock was that part of the reason you bought it was the anti-theft protection!? Therefore buying the lock DOES NOT protect you for reimbursement if your bike is stolen. In effect this is back door insurance without calling it that.
