Got a 22r engine- should be one of the… Got a 22r engine- should be one of the toughest on the planet. Warranty for 6 months and 7 months later it blew a ring. Hadnt even put 500 miles on it. Took it to 3 diff. shops who all said the same thing= bunk engine. One shop even was kind enough to call their customer service for me and explain the situation to them. Weeks of back and forth with the them and NOTHING. NO refund, NO rebate, ZILCH, ZERO. EVEN IF I sent them back the engine and they determined it to be a failure on their part, toss off as it was out of warranty by 30 damn days! This POS even suggested I buy ANOTHER engine from them!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. %^!#&^*!&(*!#....

Absolutely horrible experience Absolutely horrible experience. I would never do business again with a internet company that doesn't take PayPal. If you chose to patronage these folks I eish you better luck than I. I received sludge up engine. When I asked for exchange was told: anything we send you will be that bad, they don't take care of their engines because they know they have to pull them a 50k. Send it back in original condition on the original palate and we might do something. Well the palate was long gone. The pan and valve cover were off and it was impossible to send back in original packaging and they knew it. They said to keep going with the install and if there was an issue they would honor the warrantee. Burned over 1guart per tank (250 miles) of gas. They refused to honor the warranty. Short and sad end to story it blew up in about 500 miles. My advise would be. Turn around dont walk away, but run fast as you can. But that's just my advice and experience. In sure they have some happy customers as well.

Find an Engine Elsewhere What they don't tell you about these low-mileage used engines is that they have no guarantee that they run properly at all! They may come out of cars with less than 60k miles but these engines have been ABUSED. They said they do compression tests and some other "inspections" but really there's no way that's the case for every engine they sell. The first engine I received quickly started burning a ton of oil and overall running like utter garbage, it was undrivable. So, I had to get a replacement engine sent out. The second engine burned slightly less oil, but being without a car so long I just committed to having to put a quart of oil in every week. That was ok to get me by but it still wouldn't pass CA emissions tests. I'm glad I had the help of a mechanic friend and didn't have to pay labor twice to put a piece of junk in my car or I would have been livid. Oh, and they make no effort to compensate you for your time or other expenses when they send a bad engine. I've since gotten rid of the car but would not recommend a "refurbished" or "used" engine from them or anyone for that matter unless they'll show you it's been tested thoroughly.

The engine I paid for technically… The engine I paid for technically lasted a year, but it sputtered, stalled, and potentially destroyed the rest of my exhaust system because it was so filthy when they put it in. I was always afraid to drive long distances, and the car never had the performance it once had with the new engine. Engineworld scams you -- you pay quite a bit of money for an engine, which does not include labor costs, for a very minimal warranty. Buyer beware.
