Been loyal ever since! Quite simply - if you want you car repaired properly and not be screwed over and taken advantage of go see Rick at Cottman Transmission in Brandon. First time a took my car to Rick I had an estimate from another shop from over $ 700.00. Cottman replaced a belt and the whole bill was around $ 100.00 including diagnostic, parts and labor. Been loyal ever since and Rick have never give me cause to even slightly doubt his work. Once more and always, thanks Rick!

Dissatisfied and disappointed Dissatisfied and disappointed. Cottman of Brandon, FL attempted to rebuild my vehicle's transmission twice and failed both times. The office manager refused to provide a breakdown of parts installed, and blamed faulty parts for the first failure. I feel that I was lied to, and now am being stonewalled. There has been no reasonable offer to correct the issues, and to add to the dissatisfactory work performed, the office continues to ignore my demands for correction of the issues. This location cannot receive my endorsement for anyone to hire their services.

Trust is extremely valuable. For me having a relationship with a mechanic you trust is extremely valuable. Rick and his crew from Cottman in Brandon are the one. You will be treated like family from the time you call until your car is finished. Every single time I have had a positive experience. When my car was under warranty I would take it to the dealer who would provide me with a laundry list of things they "recommended." I would then take my car to Rick and that list would be 20% of what I really need, the rest would give me more time to make a more informed decision. Of course he was always able to beat the price of the dealer. With my my car out of warranty, I was looking for a independent shop not a big corp or franchises. Rick destroys the stereotype of the shady mechanic and big corp shops. I wonder 🤔 if he pay fees for his franchisor? Should be in backwards, he should be paid for the great service and honest way that he gives to Cottman Corporation. Sorry Rick, not my problem but a have to say!!😬 Hey Rick, thanks for everything.

Recently I moved to Florida Recently I moved to Florida. I have an older vehicle and I am looking for a trustworthy mechanic. Rick from Cottman performed a 21 point inspection on my vehicle. They recommended several small repairs and maintenance and there wasn't anything recommended that did not need to get attention. Rick and his crew are very honest and service-oriented.
