GBAVOID THIS COMPANY THEIR WARRANTY IS A JOKE Stopped dealing with this company as they will sell you a transmission at a decent price but god help you if you have a warranty claim. They pay $350 total labor to have the transmission replaced and if you did not by the trans fluid from them you are stuck with that bill as you customer is expecting this to be done for free. With everything that needs to be done it is an 8 hour job. You have to get one of your techs to come in after hours to make this work as tying up a lift for a day when you minimum labor rate is $169, and hour is a losing proposition for a shop owner. You want to keep your customer happy and not charge them the difference, so you have to pay your tech O/T to do the repair. Communicating with them is another issue good luck as you always have to leave a message. The only person that answers is the core returns, and she is less than friendly. Also, the timeline is once you file a claim and finally get the replacement trans and then install it the core has to be returned for them to send out the labor check. So, from start to finish it will be @ 2 months to get your $$$$. Plus, if you have any issues with their transmissions, you are on your own. I had a customer that i installed an oversized trans cooler to help with the overweight Dodge High Top van he was hauling products in to keep his trans in good operating order. Guess what the transmission failed, and I simply asked them to write a letter stating the benefits of having an oversized trans cooler with this type of application. The customer was out of town and took it to a dealer who of course said you always use OEM and I got sued for $4,400 and the judge told me because the transmission company would not provide some kind of backup the was going with the dealer's recommendation and I got stuck with the bill to R&R the transmission. AGAIN AVOID THIS COMPANY AS THEIR WARRANTY IS A JOKE AND IF YOU NEED ANYTHING FROM THEM TO COVER YOU THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!

GBSo it's been a few months now.... So it's been a few months now since my purchase in October 2019, and quite a few thousand miles, short trips, longer trips, highways, local driving, mountain roads, and everything in between. So far the replacement automatic transmission and torque converter I purchased and had installed in my 2005 Dodge Dakota 4x4 (v6) has held up to everything I've thrown at it. Started off with a little bit of a rumble whenever shifting between 1st and 2nd gear, but it didn't affect the performance, and that has since went away. Little bit of a break in period maybe? Either way, I couldn't be happier with my purchase, they were professional in every way, and their price could not be beat.

GBIn One Word,....Fantastic! In One Word,....Fantastic! Very pleased with the transmission and torque converter I purchased for my 1990 Ford Bronco. Sales was friendly and very helpful to make sure I got exactly what I needed. Shipping & core return was so easy, It could not be easier & was better than I expected. I strongly recommend Best Buy Transmission for anyone looking to buy a replacement transmission.

GBTransmission was received when … Transmission was received when expected. Replaced an E40D transmission that had over 287,000 miles. The BestBuy transmission is working great!! No issues what so ever. Only thing I thought I was getting a transmission from Florida and it actually came from Wisconsin. I picked it up from FedEx and returning the old was a breeze. Overall, very happy with this purchase!!!
