GBAvoid. False advertising and no code given. I found this website online and saw it had good trust pilot reviews. My radio code had got lost due to a flat battery so I needed it asap as I was due to do a long journey. I entered the stereo serial number, and the website said it had a code available. I was given the option of waiting 24Hrs or pay £5 for it to be given instantly. I paid the £5, and over 12Hrs later still no code. I have sent a strongly worded message to the website via their contact form, and told my bank HSBC about this falsely advertised service. I will be claiming my money back, because it's principle. I paid for a service and didn't receive anything. Avoid this website, I suspect much of their trust pilot reviews are fake too judging by the way they're worded. *edit - been well over 24 hours now and nothing, no code, no email. Thankfully my bank will reimburse me*

GBGot the correct code Got the correct code within a few hours. Would have preferred to pay with PayPal, but the option was not available. Other than that all good, pleased my stereo is working again.

GBMaybe not a scam, you might be lucky. But fight to get reimbursed. Updated 30Nov. The codes sent did not work, one contained a 7 which can't be input on my radio. I emailed you for help. You eventually got back to me and told me I have to contact you via your "chat" facility!! What? Anyway, I did, despite a message saying I won't get a response for "hours". So it seemed loads of people have the same problem as I did. I just wanted the code which I have paid for. Finally got a second notification which took me to the Home screen and had to type in my serial number in again. Guess what, my serial number was now unrecognised! Appalling service. You finally refunded me after demanding 3 times. So it's not a scam but a very hit&miss operation run on a shoestring.

GBhondaradiocodes.com is really good - just use this site I used hondaradiocodes.com, as another site I used did not provide any code even after 1 1/2 days. You key the serial number of your radio in and the code comes up almost immediately. no charge and no request for your email address. what have you got to lose? As a side note, I should add that I have a satnav unit in my CR-V so my (eight digit) code was in the bottom right of the screen above the 5 and 6 buttons, no need to do anything to find it. Obviously different models of radio will require different approaches, which seem to be explained on this site, although I cannot vouch for the instructions.
