Went in to replace my clutch Went in to replace my clutch. Other places I had called in to I felt were disingenuous about diagnosing the issue. I'd would call explain the problem (knowing it was more than likely the clutch) and other shops would try to get me to come in, and charge me to look at it. While I understand that it is a chore to diagnose a problem, this seems to be pretty apparent. Called Cottman up, told them what was happening, agreed it was probable the clutch and that they'd take a look at it without a charge. Got a quote that was cheaper than everywhere else because they didn't try to up sell me on anything. Got it fixed, ended up being a little cheaper than the quote. Few days later the automatic window feature on my driver's side wasn't working. Called them up, told them the problem and the tech on the phone just told me "Oh Yea, when you disconnect the battery on those cars you have to retrain it. Just do this..." Told me over the phone how to fix it and didn't ask me to come back in or charge me anything. Great place. Will go back when other issues arise in my car.

Worth checking out! I have gone to Cottman’s several times in the past month for different reasons and each time they were very professional and honest with what needed to be done. Prices seemed very competitive with other shops around. Would highly recommend getting your car worked on here

Fixed my 2005 Corolla transmission I had the clutch replaced and later on that year had the transmission fixed due to work out bearing. They even gave me a discount on the second service visit for the year. Corolla drives like new again with 220k miles. Excellent service and competitive pricing. I recommend them and continue to use them. Next visit is for my power steering problem on Durango.

Thanks, but, no thanks.. Had my transmission and transfer case serviced and after recently draining the transfer case myself found the fluid to be burned badly, in less than the 10k miles, this was due to either the improper fluids being used, or simply not changed at all. Would not recommend using this shop, even if I narrowly avoided serious damage to the transfer case. It was no thanks to Cottman.
