GBTwo weeks ago Momentum Solar install… Two weeks ago Momentum Solar install the first layer for my solar panel. It rained and now my roof is leaking in more than one area. It was difficult contacting anyone because my call went unanswered. Once I was able to make contact i made my complain. I called each day since and is getting the runaround. I was told on Monday 10/2/23 that managers are in a meeting and will return my call. No one from the company has the decency to return my calls. I am still not able to speak with anyone in management. It will be raining again this weekend and I know the situation will get worse with wetting. I never had leaking in my roof prior to the installation. They are the worst company I have ever had to deal with.

GBI got a second visit from them only… I got a second visit from them only because they advertised under a different name. I explained that I did not go with them the first time because the agent did not want me to see the contract before signing it, He said he understood and would send me a copy of the contract, but offered me a lower rate if I signed right now. I knew then it was a scam. I never got the contract sent to me because they knew if I read it, I would not agree. They push to get you to sign on the first visit. There is a red flag. This has scam written all over it.

GBMomentum Solar failed to provide all… Momentum Solar failed to provide all the legal documentation on the day of their appointment to sell me a solar roof. ($62K plus for only 11 Kw system). Salesman insisted we would receive 20% of that back in cash from the IRS and not as a deduction. I then find I am asked to sign an agreement insuring this system for $1 million, allow the power company full access and have an extra $1000 tact on for power company inspection. Of course, I didn't sign it nor will I ever. Since the required legal documents have not been signed to complete a contract agreement. Momentum has started sending harassing letters threatening legal action as though they have a leg to stand on. Silly.

GBCon Artists I clicked on the link that claimed "Florida governor will pay for your solar panels if you live in these Florida zip codes. Enter your zip code to see if you qualify." I entered my zip code. They asked for my email and phone number. I reluctantly complied. Next, Momentum Solar is calling me to set up an appointment to provide me with an estimate because (of course!) my zip code doesn't qualify for "free" solar - no zip code in Florida does. I agreed to an appointment to get an extra proposal to compare to the proposals from other companies my husband and I interviewed. We could not get their salesman to provide us with any actual proposal! He kept talking about no money down, immediate monthly savings of $20 regardless of how much debt we would have to take on, etc. etc. etc. Once we told him we would not sign anything today no matter what, he started calling his manager - just like a used car salesman! After 2 hours of this we asked him to leave. He did not leave for another half an hour. Then he did leave but did not propose anything in writing. If you find yourself falling for the "immediate $20 a month savings" by signing to $47,000.00 loan, please think again! You can least afford to be tricked by this company into taking a horrendous debt. You can get a much bigger and better solar system for a much, much, much lesser price.
