GBUnacceptable! 5 months with no battery backup! I purchased a SunPower system (panels & 2 SunVault batteries) in late September 2023. Since Nov. 6, 2023, the two batteries we purchased are basically doorstops due to (apparently) several malfunctioning parts (microinverter(s) and a relay). I have called the 1-800-SunPower number numerous times over the past several months and have gotten no useful information from them except for a case number, #03621287. The consistant answer is that the parts are "on order." The SunVault (battery) line is worse than useless as no one ever answers it. Have contacted my "project manager" several times (email only - never answers his phone). He has only told me to call the 1-800-number. I am very discouraged, especially when I read that Sunpower is currently being sued by shareholders for not properly disclosing inventory levels. A previous lawsuit for selling systems with defective inverters (settled 2022) has caused me great alarm due to the similarity of the case to my situation. SunPower, please help me!!!!

GB8 weeks to get service One inverter stopped working resulting in 30 panels going down. I "chatted" with someone who sent me directions to reboot the inverter but you need to be an electrician. Best appointment available is 7 weeks out

GBAll of these solar companies are a… All of these solar companies are a scam........they give you their sales pitch......a lot of their customers buy the system upfront......when you take that price and spread the cost out over 30 years, then you take in consideration the months during winter that you are drawing energy from the grid you are paying more for your electricity than unfortunately the electric company. Take some time to do the cost......it's a scam. There is no sales order number. No sale was made due to the above statement of conversation.

GBLow Energy Production I am glad I came to this site because at first I thought I was the only one experiencing issues with this company. I had my solar system installed over a year ago and instead of saving money I have ended paying more to my electric company than I did before the installation. The panels have been producing little energy even on very sunny days and I can’t seem to get a technician out here to look at the problem. When I call Sunpower I am told it’s a problem else where and that I should contact my electric company. During the winter months my electric bill is almost $500 per month keeping in mind that my heating system is gas. The summer months are almost equal in comparison. Today for instance it a bright and sunny day and the panels are only producing .1 percent of my energy when I first checked and five minutes later it’s producing 3.8 percent. This system seems to be flawed and my attempt to get a tech to look at the panels have been futile because all I keep hearing from their end is that the panels are working.

GBWarren the GOATechs Warren was great, fixed a problem left behind someone who was fired from the company. Could have given up and left but stayed to fix a complex problem. For Warren specifically, this review is for him
