GBSCAMMERS Thought I made reservations on Sun Country but unintentionally had used fatebooth.com. After I thought I had made reservations I received email from “Patricia” farebooth.com who asked me to call her because there was a problem with my reservations and was then told return fight was sold out so would have to take different fight on Delta at very inconvenient time or pay more. She used my credit card information despite checking on Sun Country and finding that return flight WAS NOT sold out telling her that the return flight on Sun Country WAS NOT sold out and had been lied to and did NOT want tickets. Credit card company refused to cancel Pending payment until AFTER THE PAYMENT WAS MADE. Now I am hassled trying to PROVE that this was a scam based on fact that the premise of having to change flight was based on a lie and I am out over 500 bucks.

CAI got scammed I highly advise you to avoid using this company. I was travelling from Sudbury to Toronto recently. My initial flight of $214 (Canadian) was cancelled. I tried to book a seat on the last Air Canada flight leaving Sudbury that night. I paid for a ticket using Farebooth which I thought was a Canadian site. The site mentioned one ticket left on the plane so I was rushing to buy it (when I took the flight there were multiple empty seats). The quoted seat price was $495 but after I consented to the charge via email, it turned out to be in US dollars. My credit card was charged $680 (Canadian) for the ticket as well as an additional $412 CND for the agent charge. So my cancelled flight of $214 cost me $1092. This is obviously a scam company that takes advantage of vulnerable passengers who are under pressure to book a seat not knowing what the final cost will be. Unfortunately, now I see that multiple other passengers have been scammed like me in the past. Also, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) is advising consumers to use extreme caution when considering doing business with Farebooth.

GBDishonest company … I called Delta airlines with a question and was routed through this company unaware I wasn’t dealing with the airlines. I had already booked my flight and entered all my necessary information. They said they had to enter it since I was flying through another country and charged me $500 which was bogus. This was back in October and I was told I’d get a credit but I asked for a refund which I was told would take a couple of months. This is now May and when I call, it is still being processed. I tried calling today, but no one answers.

GBHow did they even get our information??? And not even change our flight?? We booked 4 people on a flight overseas with aerlingus themselves - somehow Jenna Fischer got our information and told us that our flight was booked and she could get us on a different flight - at an extra $92.00 per person. I do not know how she got our information - the airline said our flight had never been changed (which it hadn't, but she sent us documentation saying it was on the day she gave us). Totally screwed up and now we need to fight for our $368.00. I want to know how did this company even get our information? Aer Lingus said this has nothing to do with them???

GBThis travel agent Ruby is a samer This travel agent Ruby is a samer, maybe the whole company is. She changed departure date without me noticing, she didn't do what I told her I wanted for departure because she couldn't find one so she switched. When I told her she made a mistake, she said it's too late, and she wants $600 to change it, stay away!!!
