NEVER AGAIN!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!! our flight from Gatwick was delayed by over 9 hours and no offer of food or drink. finally arrived in Mauritius, waited over 2 hours for baggage only to find out that my mums suitcase was not put on plane at Gatwick because the check in staff was too busy chit chatting with others and on his phone so he didn't tag it. Given a ref no. in Mauritius and told I could track, but to date nothing! my mums case is still missing to date and have had no response from Air Mauritius. They ignore emails and refuse to answer phone. Aeroplanes are budget to say the least with cold food, uncomfortable seats, below par for international long haul flight, been on better planes to Canary Islands. Will never use this outfit again.... even the locals don't like using them and that's saying something.

WORST AIRLINE AND STAFF!!!! Terrible airline! Delayed for over 10 hours. Staff have not communicated anything and are NOT friendly or helpful. Flight moved to 2am and then boarding delayed even further because the luggage had not been loaded!! Absolutely shocking!!! Will NEVER be flying with air Mauritius again! Ruined the holiday of many travellers!!!

Better than its reputation Despite all the negative reviews here, some flights proceed without any problem as did ours out of Gatwick to and from Mauritius in April 2024. Whilst not the best long haul flights we’ve experienced, they were not bad except that dinner on the return flight was dreadful. Their app is quite user friendly for booking seats and online check in as well as any potential delays. Subtitles on the films and TV series would also have been appreciated.

Shocking. 0 stars for customer service We were meant to be travelling with Air Mauritius. They cancelled our flight with NO notification via email. Our holiday provider notified us. They removed our booking reference without providing a new one so we couldn't access our booking online via their website. We paid for extra services which we needed a refund for due to the cancellation. After 40 minutes waiting on the phone I was given incorrect information how to go about this by the customer service person.

Appalling airline Initial outbound flight cancelled, had to fly next day. Paid for seat with extra leg room (nightmare experience with website and poor assistance from customer service). On return flight we were not informed at checkin that our seats had been changed and only found out as we passed to the gate. Very rude and offhand treatment by agent and in the end no extra leg room and couldn’t sit together with my wife. Appalling service and still haven’t received their derisory offer of £89 refund. Our flight was January 2023 and we are now in November. Worst airline ever experienced and are actively discouraging using them.
