GBEsta empresa no reconoce gastos adquiridos por los clientes cuando cancelan un vuelo With Delta airlines we bought the tickets for our Ski vacation in Vermont. My family and I were due to return from Burlignton to Maryland on February 13, 2024. The airline informed us the day before that the flight had been canceled due to bad weather even though there was no snow, rain or other weather event that warranted cancel the flight. For work reasons we had to return to Maryland the next day. Making the most favorable decision for us, we had to rent a car to travel to Boston for 3 and a half hours where there was snow, rain and a lot of slow traffic due to the weather conditions. Delta did not recognize the additional expense on our trip nor the one we had to eat on the way to get to Maryland. When trying to reconcile a possible part of the flight, vehicle rental and food, they refused and did not acknowledge anything. This is one of those companies that lose nothing, they keep everything favoring the house like a roulette wheel at a town fair, to the detriment of customer satisfaction. I will never travel with this company again because I consider that they acted unfairly and are not responsible for their customers, sad for an airline that shows itself with attractive advertising of satisfaction to its customers but in reality I consider that customers are not a priority interest for the same given the events that happened to me and my family.

NLDo not fly Delta Terrible Airline, not at all interested in the customer. Payed extra on top of seats already booked for extra legroom but once on board the seats did not have extra legroom at all. They refuse to refund me the extra money and want to offer me a discountvoucher for my next flight. Really!!!!! I don't get what I pay for but you keep the money Delta?

GBOn my flight to Saint Martin and the return flight to Tallahassee On my flight from Tallahassee, Florida to Atlanta, Georgia we were told that after we had already boarded the plane that there was an uneven weight in the wings so we had to wait until the fuel truck came back to the plane and added 500 gallons of fuel. Because of that I was late making my connecting flight in Atlanta. After standing in line for 15 minutes, waiting to speak to somebody in customer service the man behind the counter not so nicely. Explain that my connecting flight was also delayed and that they were actually boarding. I got this information sent to me in a text 15 minutes before , the plane was too board! as I’m sure you know the Atlanta airport is not an easy airport to get from one place to another so I had to at the age of 73 run to my next boarding terminal. On my return flight from Saint Martin to Atlanta everything was going pretty well until we boarded the plane and for the next 3 1/2 hours all of us on the plane had to listen to a child literally scream for 3 1/2 hours. I know that’s not your fault but unfortunately, the last five or six rows at the back on the right hand side of the plane the movies weren’t working. We couldn’t even put earplugs in to drowned out the screaming child. I will say that the flight attendants did try to get the TVs working, but they never did work for the whole flight . We couldn’t even download a game because they wouldn’t download my whole experience with flying on Delta from the beginning of my vacation on April 3 to the end of my vacation on April 10 was a stressful, exhausting, bad experience I don’t believe I will fly on Delta again . My friends I was meeting in Saint Martin had flown on American And had no problems. I think I’ll stick to cruising.

GBExpect to miss your next flight Service was eh and I had a flight from Boston to Alanta. We arrived and my next flight to Phx was already booking people on so I missed my flight. Southwest has always been great. Wish I never tried Delta.

DEFlight Flight Dear Sir or Madam, We had booked a flight from Atlanta to Düsseldorf on 27.7.23. (DL 90) When we sat on the plane, we were told that we could not take off due to a defective engine, they were trying to start the flight manually, this takes up to 2 hours. After 2 hours we received the message that the engine had to be repaired. After waiting a total of 6 hours, IM flight time with 2 small children, without internet and with only water and cookies provided, we were then told that we could no longer take off as the flight hours had been exceeded. When we got off the plane, the counter was already soooo long that we didn't want to/couldn't wait in line with our small children. And we were assured that we would automatically be booked on the next flight, the next day at 11 a.m., and would only have to come to the airport for boarding. We could also book a hotel ourselves. So we drove to the hotel. On the ground, my sister chatted with Delta for HOURS to find out that there was no flight the next day. After a lot of back and forth, we were booked on a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt. So that we could get home safely with the children, I booked an expensive transfer from Frankfurt to our home, also on the assumption that this would be taken care of. When we arrived in Frankfort, our luggage was there and we realized that we only got vouchers for Delta, which are neither transferable nor valid for more than a year. There was NO response at all to inquiries from our lawyer. We are hoping for a reasonable compensation as our whole family are actually good and satisfied customers of the airline!
