His advice on accommodation, tours, transfers, restaurants and little but important travelling details was very clear and included relevant links and information. The payment was simple and processed fast. We also greatly appreciated Philip's flexibility and superb customer service in adjusting the itinerary to accommodate different arrivals of our group members. Sadly, some tour members had to cancel their trip and I cannot thank Philip and his team enough for their professionalism and assistance with the trip cancellation.

A brilliant holiday Although we have visited South Africa many times, this was the first time we have used the services of Where It All Began. Their planning was exemplary and our queries were answered promptly and fully. The venues were just as we had expected and our holiday was enhanced by their services. The holiday notes provided were excellent; we have visited the Cape on many occasions in the past, and thought we knew our way around; but the notes led us to new places well worth visiting. Quick help with travel changes South Africa is challenging for travelers. Philip was super-responsive to changes that occured, such as driver changes and restaurant rescheduling. Plus various questions we had during our travels. Also, the trips he suggested gave us an excellent idea of what living in Joburg or Cape Town is like, which is a main reason to visit new places.

We can’t say enough positive things… We can’t say enough positive things about Where It All Began. They created a bespoke, seamless three week trip for five people ranging from age 13 to 75. Our unique interests and varied needs were addressed making it a lifetime memory for all of us. We received daily travel check-ins from them reminding us of travel details, pickup confirmations, etc. It was, by far, the best organized and easiest trip that I have ever taken. In addition to this, it was also the most interesting and personal trip that I have ever taken. We were invited into the homes of individuals from all over South Africa, learning about their experiences and stories. I will definitely ask Where it All Began to plan our next trip to Africa!
