Dream trip to Africa My dream of going to Africa came true, I waited for it for 3 years, all I had to do was go to the Wilderness Travel website, choose the trip I was interested in and they took care of the rest. When I landed in Africa I felt something that cannot be described, I was so happy. I can definitely say that Africa changed me, I discovered something in myself that I didn't know and I found myself. Our trip was excellent in every respect… Our trip was excellent in every respect - trip leader, local guides, drivers, staff at estancias. Obviously, a great deal of effort was spent on planning the hikes and other activities, travel, accommodations. Our trip leader Rob Noonan and all the guides educated us in every aspect of Buenos Aires and Pataonia - history, geology, meteorology, flora and fauna. The hikes were strenuous, but we could set our own paces, so, even I, at age 74, was able to complete all the hikes without overtaxing myself. A trip that was good for the mind and body - what else could you want?
