Don't let the title Knitting Tour put… Don't let the title Knitting Tour put you off.For anyone wanting a great tour of Ireland and the Arran isles I can certsinly recommend this one.The knitting is an added bonus.Tour Guide Jane is one of the best with so much local and historical info.Plus she tried hard to teach us the Irish language.Kenny managed the coach like a rally driver. He negotiated streets and lanes brilliantly. Workshops were interesting and varied with good tutors. The accommodation could not be faulted. The group was a good mix of nationalities and knitting experience.Weather was kind to us.

Individual attention. Individual attention by the instructor. Her knowledge enabled me to expand options for my knitting. The hotel, Lough Eske, was fantastic. Great rooms, staff interaction, and good food. I do wish the breakfast was laid out better, tho. I want to thank the office staff for their rapid responses to my questions. I would definitely use this company in the future.

Fantastic Shetland/Scotland Knitting Tour My second review. This was an exceptional tour from beginning to end! Detailed descriptions, clear itinerary, specific accommodations, amazing & talented instructors were all carefully planned. There was a comfort built into the tour because of the professional planning. There was always someone to answer any concerns or questions without delay. Our tour guide & driver were so wonderful! They were knowledgeable, prepared, warm & personable & an important part of the success of our experience. It was just so much fun & I would absolutely recommend this trip & am most likely to take another.

Great Scottish Knitting Tour I had a fantastic time on the Scottish Highlands Knitting Tour. I am an avid knitter and a yarn snob. I love fibre, starting from the sheep breeds to processing, (sheering, carding, spinning, dying, etc), to finished products. I also love history and the history of yarn and Scottish clothing. This tour was fantastic in that we went to historic places, we met designers, historians, farmers and artists. We went to shops and villages. My need for information was met. I had lots of time to knit. I met interesting people. I am a retired professional and most people were also retired professionals. The tour guide was really fantastic and our coach driver was also awesome. They had to maneuver us through some very rough weather, and had to shift around workshops and presenters who couldn’t get to us due to road closures. We were safe, well taken care of, and had options available when weather was really miserable. It was great.

Fantastic knitting tour to Shetland Well organised tour to the Shetland Islands. The tour guide was very knowledgable about where we travelled and some of the history of Shetland. The bus driver was courteous and helpful at all times and willing to go out of his way, as time allowed, to give us the opportunity to see other things. The workshops were run by very talented women who shared their skill and knowledge in a way we could all benefit. The other tourist places were visited were in keeping with the theme of fibre and were interesting even for non knitters. I have come home with wonderful memories and new skills.
