GBAMAZING 5-star Yangtze scenic tour with Ritz!! I am a long-term Ritz Tours customer, being introduced to it for the first time in 2011 by my in-laws and took my very first trip with them at that time to China. Since then, I have been on many Ritz Tours covering most of Europe, Japan, and China. Lillian as General Manager has always been wonderful to work with. Most recently, I took my parents for their first trip to China on Ritz's 16-day Scenic Yangtze Discovery tour as China reopened to foreign visitors. We just came back from our trip last week and I must say that was probably my best Ritz trip so far and I have been to China on multiple occasions for both pleasure and business. 5-star hotels, amazing banquet style meals with regional cuisines, knowledgeable and friendly local tour guides, and beautiful sceneries as we covered the major cities of Beijing, Chongqing, Xian, Guilin and Shanghai. Both modern and historical! The tour also included 4 days on the 5-star Victoria Sabrina on the majestic Yangtze River. The Sabrina is currently the world's largest river cruise ship, so our superior cabin, private dining table, executive lounge access and facilities were all amazing, not to mention the views of the impressive Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric dam! Best of all, our tour leader for the entire trip, Ocean, was the best tour guide I have had in all my travels and I have traveled extensively around the world. His knowledge, experience, thoughtfulness towards everyone of all ages, enthusiasm, flexibility and problem-solving skills are much appreciated. I have always and will continue to recommend Ritz Tours to my family and friends. I myself plan on more Tours with Ritz and hopefully with Ocean, if possible. We celebrated both my mother's and my birthdays on this recent China tour...thank you, Ocean and Ritz Tours, for an unforgettable experience! -Natalie T.

GBMost everything went very well Most everything went very well. The exception is the tour guides did not volunteer information about the city, the people, and some times too little information about the places we are visiting.

GBWe purchased the tour pkg from Ritz but… We purchased the tour pkg from Ritz but the tour was conducted by another company. Regardless, we enjoyed the tour and guide very much. The only disappointment was the hotel in Sun Moon Lake. The website stated Fleur De Chine, Le Meridien Hotel Taichung or similar. We got Sun Moon Lake Hotel which was not even close or similar, it was older and slightly rundown. Other than that, it was fantastic

GBTrip to Japan Gail Thompson Ritz office in LA was very helpful and tour was generally good and Japan is has an interesting history. Tour can be improved by only including only the MOST important castle, temples and shrines. After a few days this becomes too much to enjoy and understand the history. I wanted to go to a tea ceremony and festival but this was not offered at all. I felt that we needed to learn more about their culture. The town I liked the most was Kyoto. Our guide was nice and helpful but much of the information she shared on the bus and inperson could not be fully understood because of her accent. I know that it is hard to lose your accent so I suggested that a summary be given to us so we could read it for ourselves. I will recommend Ritz Tours to others.
