GBSHADY AND UNPROFESSIONAL This is my second day on vacation and my family is still not in the unit that we booked for the 21st through the 28th. I called yesterday and spoke to the Westgate Myrtle Beach and they told me my unit was ready. We arrived after a 13 hour drive to be stuffed in a very small Hotel room, because they rented our unit!!!!!!!!! The hotel room is a 2 Star at best. Very small. I have called Customer Service and have left my number numerous times. I have also sent emails with no response. However I did get an email from Camilla about enjoying our stay. What a joke. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had on a vacation rental. The fine print did not cover them renting our unit and sticking us in a hotel room at a ridiculous rate of what we paid for the unit. The hotel gave us a 50$ gift card for their restaurant and waved our resort fees but also promised to resolve first thing this morning. I checked at the desk this morning and they basically did not understand how or why this was an issue. I don’t understand how a resort and Vacatia can double book a unit and leave the consumer hanging.

GBBad timeshare Bad timeshare, they will not work with customers, the Grand shores West is a dump with horrible parking, and They charge more for maintenance fees and trumped-up charges than my Hilton Hawaii Timeshare. Most of the time customer service is no working. No AC in the hallway for more than 2 years, tiny dumpy rooms. All and All I am trapped into a horrible situation. Vacatia has worse integrity then Wyndham.

GBWill not use site to book property in the future Will not use site to book property again. There are hidden fees. After booking my stay and arriving I was charged almost double in fees than what was listed on the website.

GBMy rci resort has switched to Vacatia… My rci resort has switched to Vacatia for handling maintenance fees. Last year I mailed a checked on time for this and over a month later they sent a notice that I hadn’t paid. When I called they found my check. They evidently don’t have a good processing system. This year I tried to deposit my week and was denied for non payment of fees. I paid on time and my check was cashed. If a company can’t handle payments from customers something is wrong. I am trying to straighten this out now.

GBThe stay was great until my last night The stay was great until my last night. As I slept, I heard what sounded like a flood. I learned that there was a huge water leak in my closet. I called maintenance and he could not make the repair. The front desk offered to move me but I was traveling with my daughter who was special needs. After the initial whoosh sound of the water there was the never ending drip drop of the water hitting the safe in the closet. I got No sleep for an upcoming 14 hour drive and I called multiple times to request a call from the manager because I feel I am due some type of compensation but I have yet to hear from a manager. I am blasting this resort on Facebook.
