Just bought your MD1000 Just bought your MD1000. Arrived two weeks ago. And Ive been VERY SATISFIED with the bike. Could not believe how big it was. But I'm 6'4 300 so that's what I actually wanted. Bought it to get back and forth to work to save on gas. Looking forward to taking it off road when the weather gets better. Worth every penny!

Disappointed With The Reliability I live in central Texas on a small ranch. In this area there are rolling hills and a number of gravel farm roads that don't have a lot of traffic. It has been enjoyable getting out on the HD-750 with the peddle assist and with the throddle, especially going uphill. Most of the time I ride in level 1 and peddle hard to get a good cardio. There are two routes that I ride ranging in length from 16 to 20 miles. Here are some of my issues: 1. The bike is very heavy. 2. I'm 5'-11" and can barely touch the ground with both feet when I straddle the frame. This isn't a bike for short people. 3. When it is sunny, it is hard to see the display on the HD-750 because of all the glare. 4. On the first couple of rides, I went less than 20 miles and used up half of the battery capacity, and my bike has two batteries. I didn't seem to use as much battery capacity on the last ride even when I did most of the ride in level 3. 5. The last time I rode the bike in my creek bottom pasture, I couldn't go fast because the ground was rough. Going slow in level 1, the motor would frequently make a groaning sound and then make the bike lunge forward slightly. That was annoying 6. I'm a retired engineer and have no use for equipment that is not reliable. On my last ride (Saturday Jan 23) I got approximately five miles from the house on a gravel road with a lot of hills, and the motor crapped-out on me. It just stopped working. The display indicated a "motor position sensor fault". Needless to say, I had to peddle back to the house without any assistance from the motor. (I know, boo hoo!) I've have had this bike less than two months and have gone on long rides maybe five times. Unfortunately, I'll have to take it to the local bike shop, see if they can figure out the issue, and pay out-of-pocket to have it fixed. This should be a warranty issue, but the Bikonit shop is too far away. If this happens again, I'm going to sell the bike. 7. I upgraded the seat to a Daway and the seatpost to a Kinekt. The springy seatpost is much more comfortable on this old man's private parts when riding the bumpy gravel roads.

Fantastic bike Fantastic bike. Rode it in new snow, excellent. I get lots of thumbs up as I ride by. Even in super hilly Western Washington it gets me where I want to go. Probably have close to 2000 miles. Goofy random resets of the mile counter are why the info is approximate. I get what looks like 100 miles per charge with 2 batteries. My only complaint is the battery recall. They promised $100 credit so I purchased fenders and a back rack. Never received.

Buyer Beware! I purchased a Bikonit HD750 from their website thinking I was buying from a company here in the USA. They are in China as is customer service. You are buying from a wholesaler who is just the middleman and really has no part in your purchase or as I find out customer service. During assembly the front wheel brake rotor was severely warped. I Contacted the wholesaler he said nothing he could do until the people in China got into work. Once contacted they said sorry it must have damaged in transit. So I brought it to my local bike shop and had to replace the rotor at my cost. I connected the batteries and nothing. No power. Dead. I charged the batteries and still dead. I tried to contact the CA middleman again but he said nothing he could. I needed again to speak with China reps. After I received an email from Distributor they asked me to take the motor apart and connect a voltage meter. Seriously. Then asked if I would take my NEW bike to a local bike shop and have it fixed and they would reimburse me. Again this is a new bike. This went back and forth for days due to the time difference. The guy in California was useless. Wanted no part. Next I needed to take photos and videos of me pushing the power button and showing no power and pictures of the wiring. I demanded a new bike. They would not do this as they wanted me to get the bike fixed. I refused and after many more days they agreed to replace the bike. This is now two weeks from initial receipt of the first bike. Five days later I received the second bike. I carefully removed from the box. The front wheel brake rotor was once again bent. At this point I didn’t care. It did power on. This was a very long and stressful situation dealing with this international company. I highly recommend buying from a local company. I understand these bikes are manufactured in China but at least some of these large companies have offices and Customer Service in the USA. Customer service is so important when purchasing such a big expensive item. I need to add after riding for a few days a “clanking” sound coming from the gears is happening. Poor quality assembly. So buy at your own risk or buy locally.

My pedal crank came off My pedal crank came off. I had to take it to another bike shop to located because Bikonit didn't replace. They told me to add thread lock. The pedal crank was stripped out and wasn't going to work. Then the axle bolt came off while I was riding. They had to order the part from China it took 1.5 weeks to come in. Now the controller or batteries are not working. In the 1.5 months I've owned the bike I've only been able to ride 2 weeks. The bike has been at the dealer for 2 weeks. I'm still waiting to see if and when I'll be able to use it. I really had high hopes. Once it's fixed anyone want to buy a wathoghd 750, with bag, extra battery, and rear rack?
