About Ben's Cycle

Ever feel like you are just not sized right on your new bike? Or you didn't quite get the bike you originally went to the store to buy? We've heard the stories from both customers and customer’s friends who have been steered in a wrong direction in a bike sale. Maybe it's because the shop didn't carry the type of bike they wanted, had a particular model they needed to liquidate or maybe they didn't have the right size in stock, but still wanted the sale. That is definitely not the way to treat a new bike customer or any customer. A shop like that isn't concerned about your need or comfort on a bike; they just wanted a sale. Once you’re out the door...its money in their cash drawer and they're on to the next. We strive to make sure you're getting the right bike for your type of riding. Not only that; we won't put you on a bike that doesn't fit you properly. These are important things to us and they should be even more important to you. We want you to love riding your bike and will do our best to make sure you do.

Tried hard, but missed the point I was connected to Ben's through an ebay link and Ben's procured from Surly a cyclocross fork. Through an email exchange, I was told that Ben's would get the fork on a Monday and it would be shipped same day and would arrive via two-day delivery on a Wed. Ben's didn't get the fork on time and it didn't get me the fork within 2 days after it was received. Ben's credited me the shipping. The far bigger problem was that the fork shown on ebay indicated it had a 1" steerer tube and the fork I received has 1-1/8" tube. Customer service after I raised that point was poor and I have never been able to figure out what went wrong.

Great selection of bicycle gear. I'm a 'do it yourself' cyclist, have done all the work to my bikes for years (build indestructible wheels!). I mainly buy parts, common like tires, hard to find like non-standard cluster spacers and cleats/toe clips/straps for old school and track pedals. Ben's has served me well since I found it a few years ago, has had many of the parts I have needed. I always see what they have when I need something and they often get my order,

A nice find for US fixed-gear riding I see few quality steel 3/32-inch track cogs outside of Shimano Dura-Ace, which go up to only 16 teeth. So it was nice to find Milwaukee/Ben's had bigger sizes -- and that they were made in the USA. The fellow who took my order was friendly and helpful, and the shipping cost was remarkably low. The cog arrived in Kansas in just a couple of working days. I'm happy.

Ben's Cycle Found Ben's Cycle searching for particular item. Started my order online but then called to ask a question. Matt knew the product line(s) and answered my question and then completed the order over the phone. Order shipped that day and arrived on time (2 business days from WI to FL). I will definitely shop there again.

Great shopping experience at Ben's Cycle I found Ben's Cycle website really easy to navigate and easy to find what I was looking for. The search function pulled up a good selection and the filters allowed me to fine tune it. I dealt with both a social media representative and an ecom representative prior to placing my order and they were able to answer my questions so I ordered exactly what I was looking for. Prices are great too and very clear what you are getting.
