PayPal took money from my linked bank… PayPal took money from my linked bank account, unauthorized. It supposedly went to an organization that I've donated to before, but they did not receive it. My bank refunded the money, and I unlinked my bank account. Now my PayPal account is restricted unless I send them personal documents--which I refuse to do. But they won't let me close my account--which I want to do-- and if anyone sends me money, I won't be able to access it. I spent 4 hours on the phone with PayPal before contacting my bank, and got nowhere. The most frustrating financial issue I've ever had. Is there some legal entity to file a complaint against PayPal?

PayPal will be stopped!!! This website is a must for any online seller who uses or is considering using PayPal. It confirmed that I was not just experiencing 'bad luck' in my dealings with this company and that they are well, bordering on criminal in their behaviour. They gve lots of useful information on how to get your money back from the PayPal cowboys. If you have a small online company, especially if you sell items that are likely to be returned, clothing, bridal, DO NOT use PayPal as your only means of payment. PAYPAL SUCKS FOR A BUYER!! I closed my PayPal account after I opened a dispute and they sided with the seller. I purchased what I thought was a designer label womens top from a USA company but after given a tracking number and waiting almost two weeks, the package still showed it was at the seller's address. I did some research and found that this company was out of China but using a Wisconsin address that was not valid in Google maps. I called Chase Bank and they reversed the charges. Thank you Chase!

Paypal email accounts. BEWARE! I read an article recently that Paypal have been in trouble in the USA with data and this is a further cautionary tale that shows you mustnt use paypal under any circumstances. I tried to open a paypal account with my email address and discovered that its already in use with paypal with a lady in the USA. I know this because I went through their security checks and shut down her account and i got the email to say that I had, revealing her the last 4 6 digits of the other woman telephone number. When I spoke to paypal 'customer service' woman(yeah they are a joke!) to advise this and to explain their was a major issue, she said that she would email the other lady to advise the problem. Guess who got the email. DONT USE THIS COMPANY, YOUR DETAILS ARE NOT SAFE.

DO NOT USE PAYPAL - EVER DO NOT USE PAYPAL! Cancel your service, delete the app from your phone, switch to Google Pay or a reputable service. Your money is not secure with PayPal and scam online merchants know that PayPal will not protect your transaction. No refunds, no protection from PayPal. Run, run fast!
