GB02/23/2024 Liberty Health Share is a… 02/23/2024 Liberty Health Share is a scam. Stay clear of this criminal scam company, and I don't mean back a few years ago when they were sued for fraud and embezzlement, I mean now in 2024. This company only takes money and never pays the bills you submit. The phone help only gives you the scripted run around trying to tire your out so you give up and they keep your money. They won't let you cancel your auto payment on the phone and require one month notice in writing to cancel your billings. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CRIMINALS! LIERTY HEALTHSHARE IS A SCAM!!!

GBWaiting 2+ years for reimbursment I have been waiting for over 2 years for Liberty Healthshare to reimburse me for covered medical bills. I have called dozens of times only to receive the same response: "we have no idea when you'll be reimbursed" Nobody has any information and they are completely unwilling to help in any way.

GBConstantly changing the rules because they can't keep up with payments We joined liberty healthshare In 2016. Family of five. We were enticed by their low monthly pricing and annual unshared amount as we my husband and I were both self employed with young children and were relatively healthy. In 2018, I suffered a medical issue that left me in a coma a two weeks of hospitalization. Liberty did work with me pretty well to navigate this, but my credit did take a hit. It was rough and the hospital was calling about payments. By 2021, everything was cleared up. However, oue monthly fees were going up and unshared amount was also going up, and liberty was covering/sharing less. We were also not getting reimbursements back in timely amount, with Liberty citing extenuating circumstances. In October 2023, my son needed a tumor removed. I went through all of the pre notification and worked with liberty to get it okayed. I started getting all the documents after the surgery and started sending It into LHS for reimbursement, but LHS said I had the wrong forms, not a UB04 and other tax forms. I provided all the information that they needed but they changed how they processed things and would not work with the hospital to get the right forms. We left LHS in Jan of 2024. I continued to send in paperwork for reimbursement but the story kept changing why it was denied. lHS would not get back to me. I sent in more paperwork and LHS finally said my claim was Deniwd totally because I sent it in after 60 days since we left. Even though it was the same claim and it was supporting documentation. And I had been trying to work with them and the hospital for months. They wouldn't take the information and kept blaming it on their processors. However , they somehow were able to reimburse our deposit that we paid for our son's surgery but not the whole surgery. When asked about this, they blamed my giving them information too late and the wrong information. I started giving them information and calling them a month after my son's surgery. In November of 2023. However, I kept them updated continually with their pre notification department right after his surgery that he was not staying as an inpatient. There is something that doesn't make sense. I have called, pleaded and tried everything. But, LHS is not a service worth working with.

GBWe are a skilled inuring provider in… We are a skilled inuring provider in Virginia. After providing months of skilled nursing care for a resident with Liberty Healthcare in 2021, we have received no reimbursement. We are out approximately $65,000. They have said the claims are approved but can not tell us if or when these claims will ever be paid.

GBI required back surgery in 2020 I required back surgery in 2020. Went through review, got all required approvals. Paid my share. Then started trying to get hospital bill shared by Liberty. It finally ended up in their MCSS partners who negotiated with the hospital for a lower cost…meanwhile I am making payments out of pocket to avoid collections issues. MCSS told Liberty in summer of 2021 they owed hospital X and needed to reimburse my Y. No ambiguity. Liberty finally submitted for sharing in Sept of 2021…still waiting. They did pay part of the hospital bill, but so far have not reimbursed me…apparently I am considered “backlog”.
