Brixton Flat - Poor Landlord Hello, Lexadon were attentive to our requests at the beginning, they acknowledged that the flat was untidy in parts and organised for a cleaner to come round. This was appreciated. However, soon after we started to realise that Lexadon were extremely slow to respond to maintenance issues. We moved into the property in March and the extractor fan and light were bust, we officially reported the issue in April and 2/3 months later the issue still hasn't been addressed. No communication at all. We had to call them to find out that their maintenance employee had left the company. Having spoken to neighbours and reading reviews here, it's clear Lexadon are very poor at addressing maintenance issues which fall under their responsibility. The most concerning is that we promptly reported an urgent issue with both doors being unlocked/broken which left us vulnerable to theft or potential break ins. Almost 3 weeks later and nothing was communicated to us to reassure us that this issue was being taken seriously. Responses like 'Have you reported it on fixflo'. The whole attitude was cavalier to say the least. Sadly, my flatmate had his bike stolen, and make no mistake this was as a result of the broken doors. Anyone, could walk into our property. Over the time period, people will have noticed that the doors were broken. We share bike storage with Rum Kitchen. People would have eyed up my housemate's nice bike which had a D lock on it. It was cut through. We emailed Lexadon and now they finally seem to be acknowledging the urgency of the issue. A bit late for that, and so far refuse to accept any responsibility for the theft. To be seen. Avoid Lexadon if you want a landlord to care about its tenants. Thanks

Maintenance not good enough Maintenance come quickly for minor issues but major ones are entirely ignored. One window has been broken for years with no repair offered, and several others with broken panes have taken months to get fixed. Condition of windows which are not yet actually broken is still shockingly bad (rotten frames, single glazed, difficult to close, etc). Add this to rent increases well above market rates and we weren't very impressed.

Great experience ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Great experience. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ From start to finish. The viewing was hands down the best viewing I have been on. The knowledge, professionalism, information provided, quality of property and response times have been amazing. Referencing was easy and straight forward using rightmove referencing which was easy to use. We were kept updated during the whole process. The move in was smooth and we have started making some great friends with other tenants in the building. Any small maintenance issues have been dealt with super quickly by their in house maintenance team. Could not fault the experience. We are very happy to have found such a lovely property in such an awful period of the rental market. We had been to 20+ viewings and had been out bid and missed out on even viewing some properties due to how competitive the market is. Lexadon’s process was fair and straight forward.

Issues from the first day of moving in Issues from the first day of moving in. No professional clean as stated, light bulbs out in all rooms, broken extractor fan in bathroom, broken heated flooring, filthy windows and rubbish in draws. We have been living in the flat for 7 months now and still nothing has been sorted. We have been passed from person to person, had emails ignored, and consistently struggled to get a response. I have called several times but anyone I'm trying to contact has conveniently 'just gone into a meeting'. This is an awful company, and its common knowledge across the building that Lexadon are awful landlords. I mentioned to them that we would withhold rent until issues were sorted, and they replied almost instantly, threatening us that we would be going against our contract, and subsequently evicted. DO NOT RENT A LEXADON PROPERTY.
