GBAVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID UPDATE: I have now received a full refund from the company. Although, this had to be through a bank transfer and not the original payment source. I had made a booking through Booking.com with the Corphousinggroup.com for an apartment in Boston. Less than 2 weeks before we are to travel they cancelled the booking. They had said they would find alternative for us and pay the excess. This took 6 days for them to do with minimal replies to multiple concerned emails during this time. Finally they confirmed an alternative but I was sceptical so I rang this accommodation. They confirmed booking but rang me the next day to state the balance had not been paid and the card provided had been declined a number of times. Since this I’ve cancelled all bookings with the corphousinggroup and am entitled to a full refund under the free cancellation policy. However, they are refusing to refund my initial payment method even after being contacted by Booking.com! They’re obliged to repay through the payment form - credit card, but are refusing to, saying they’ll send cheques which are unlikely to ever arrive and responses from their customer services are extremely rare and uncompromising. I would suggest that anyone avoid at all costs to prevent you from being stuck in an awful position like ourselves!

DEcorphousinggroup.com | sobenewyork.com corphousinggroup is the company that handles the credit card payments for bookings with sobenewyork and where the money goes. The company in the background, so to speak. Stay away if you don't want to lose money. See the reviews for sobenewyork.com here on trustpilot. booking.com, i.e. not the one who caused the damage (Corphousing or SobeNewYork), has now partially compensated for the damage. It took a lot of persistence. Over 20 emails, some chats and phone calls. However, SobenewYork and/or CorphousingGroup still owes me around 220USD in additional costs.

GBI happily spent my 60th birthday here! I happily spent my 60th birthday here! I stayed there for 13 days and I felt as if I were at home. The people from the staff (Jaye, Nick, Vanessa, Jon, Izzy, Sammy, Dwayne, Corine, José, Denise, Vera and her team, and everybody else!) ) are like my family! I know the business is new, and some adjustments are needed, but as a happy guest, I need to share my great experience staying here! I’ll be back, for sure!
