GBI’ve been a member now for quite a few… I’ve been a member now for quite a few years and have always found their reviews and recommendations note worthy. They review undervalued companies e.g Barclays, when pointed out at 0.90p it seemed obviously so bought and doubled my money. Also growth stocks and sector stocks with another recommendation, Glencore, bought at £2.32, I still hold that now at £5.30. The coverage is very good and would recommend being a member as there are also exclusive recommendations before they go fully public.

GBReasonable service - must try harder Too much spam, which distracts from the paid for service. Sometimes intermittent coverage and reviews. Some “Best Buy now” recommended shares falling by very large double digits losses in the following week. Cross selling other services makes you wonder why you’re paying for the one you have.

GBI'm surprised at the number of negative… I'm surprised at the number of negative reviews. I can only conclude that some expect too much. Motley Fool do their research and come to reasonable conclusions. But they don't have a crystal ball. Investors have a responsibility, I think, to be careful and not simply invest in a recommendation they haven't looked into themselves. Consider Motley Fool as a starting point, not a rubber stamp. Most of the recommendations I leave alone. Those I have picked have for the most part done well, far better than the annual fee.

GBVery happy Share Advisor subscriber Have subscribed to Share Advisor for almost ten years now and while I no longer buy individual shares, those I have bought on the back of Foolish recommendations have done well in the main. It pays to be a patient investor for Share Advisor subscribers, as the SA team have a long term, value oriented outlook. The research is in-depth and the guidance considered. I don't have a massive portfolio but my monthly dividend income more than covers the annual fee, plus I've been getting double digit growth most years.

GBReally terrible stock picking tips and… Really terrible stock picking tips and endless attempts to upsell. What is worse is that I've noted that some of the Fire picks they've recommended seem to plummet almost immediately after being tipped - I'm not saying that this is a pump and dump mechanism but something feels badly amiss.
