Better Lending rates great, but Rep sold us! Wow, I've done a lot of refi's over the years but thanks to Carter Thomas, none have ever been so seamless! We had received multiple offers in the mail to refi and after countless phone calls and exchanges of information, we settled on Better Lending. Their rates and closing costs were very competitive, but what sold us was Carter. The first agent that took my call… The first agent that took my call started the lending process and then just disappeared. I thought I had used a fraudulent company! I called the customer service number and got Lindsay. She took our file over and started to get everything back on track. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the process took too long and right when I thought we were going to sign, there was a change and we were told we were going to have to do a first and second on our house. Lindsay saved the day again and she was able to get our refinance back to the original agreement. Lindsay was always available and although things got rocky at the end, she stayed in touch and followed through on her commitments.
