Worst experience ever!! We have bought travel insurance for years and this is the worst company ever!! My husband and I rented a house for Jan. and Feb. and bought travel insurance with InsureandGo. In Feb. my 93yr. old mother-in-law was put in the hospital back home with pneumonia. My husband is an only child and POA for his mother's health care. We had driven down with our dog and needed to find out what our options were to get him home. I called the emergency number and was told they could tell me nothing and just open a claim. I asked if they could email me a copy of the policy so we could make a good decision. They told me no. This was on a Sat. night and they said because it was Presidents Day on Monday I wouldn't be able to talk to anyone until Tuesday. There was a winter storm that weekend in the midwest so we felt it would be dangerous to drive home and we had to make the decision for him to fly home. During my frustration trying to find out information from InsureandGo I found a different number to call which brought me back to the guy who would not help. When I told him my story he said he had talked to me already and hung up on me. We opened a claim and it has gone down hill since. When you call all you get is a recording and they do not return messages! Insuremytrip had an advocate try to help us and now InsureandGo says nobody talked to me. I sent a copy of my phone bill showing there were 8 phone calls to them and they still deny talking to me. This has been the worst experience I have ever had. No wonder they have a bad rating from the Better Business Bureau!! I would never use this company and feel the need to warn others.

Did not contact me I purchased a policy in October of 2015 for a trip in September 2016. My trip was canceled and another trip was given to me for the same price. I emailed Insure and Go twice and received a confirmation message saying someone would contact me. No one contacted me either time. I eventually called and was helped by Jared who helped me change my policy. Jared did a good job, but I am irritated that no one ever contacted me.

Duplicitous Outfit A fine insurance company so long as you never need to make a claim. We had a day's delay due to a Ryanair strike, which insureandgo declined stating that the strike was announced in advance. Of course no strike had been announced in advance on the route we were travelling, or we wouldn't have turned up at the airport along with the other 500 passengers travelling Ryanair on the two departing flights. This company has a policy of denying claims, it would seem.

Insurance did not pay the claim After speaking to the insurance's local representative and filing the proper paperwork, the claim has still not been paid and it is 5 months later already.

Frustrate purchasing at InsureandGo I called 3 times to find a real person to talk to since their office closes at 6 PM eastern time, it is our time at 3 PM. The communication between the representative and me was poor. I was hard to understand what she said. Even worse was she asked me which date I paid for my air tickets. How can I remember? I've never been asked this question before at previous 6 purchases. Why need this? I did not finish my second person's purchase since it took me a long time for myself's policy. Later, I called the InsureMyTrip agent. The purchase was much smoother and easier. It only took me a short time to finish the another person's policy purchase. Their office opens to midnight.
