GBBetter premiums; Not very responsive On the good side, the rates were better than my existing carrier for my 6 rental properties. On the downside, they overpromise and underdeliver on service. I told the agent that placed the policies that I was changing largely because of the lack of responsiveness of my existing agent. No complaints about the carrier. However, when I followed up a quote for an umbrella policy, I didn't hear back for days. It was time-sensitive since it was a companion policy to the rentals. I finally called after three unresponded to emails. Apparently, the original agent is no longer with the company. When I told the new agent about it, she just said to call if I don't hear back in response to an email. I said I expected to hear some response to an email by the next business day, she said that's not going to happen but I can always call. Disappointed that the service just starts out with nothing better than we may respond to your emails, and we may not.

GBSteadily came through with the best coverage and rate Steadily got us the best rate with no hassle. We were buying a home for my inlaws and and several companies either declined coverage or wanted us to move our existing home, auto, and umbrella policies to them as a condition of insuring the 2nd home. Steadily came through with the best coverage and rate with none of the shenanigans. Now I'm seriously considering moving my other policies from a national insurance company that's supposed to "be on my side" to Steadily because they listened to our needs and shot us straight. I couldn't be happier.

GBUnresponsive In December 2023 I got charged twice for my insurance (one from escrow and one from a credit card). Steadily was not able to match the payment and support is unresponsive. UPDATE: Got it resolved after 4 months.
