GBI would have loved to see overall lower… I would have loved to see overall lower rates for the debt settlement, but over all I probably saved 25% on the total debt and servicing.

GBI made the decision not to go through… I made the decision not to go through with the program because I didn’t want to suffer my credit scores to plummet any further while waiting through the negotiation process. I called and canceled a week prior to when the first payment was to be debited from my checking account but they still took out the large sum of money after I had canceled causing a disruption of auto payments coming in. I called back and asked what happened they apologized for the mistake and said that it would take approximately a week to correct which I couldn’t understand. The week past and the money still hadn’t posted to my account I called and after the rep first t tried to say no money was taken from my account and can I send proof and what not I got very angry. After some more searching she comes back and say I had to call Global Holdings that handles the trust funds for the program and they in turn told me no cancellation request had been put through at all by Verify Debt Resolution and it would take another 5 business days now I’m outraged and it took me to rant before the Global Rep then says they can do a direct deposit to my account instead of wiring the money and said yes fine do that of course! What she failed to mention was they were going to charge me $10.75 to do the transaction. This was the worst set of circumstances I ever experienced with any company period!
