I have been satisfied with my Acorns account until now I have been satisfied with my Acorns account until my experience with their referral program. The link my referrals used was expired BUT they were able to create the account and I did not receive the referral bonus. Poor marketing. If the link was expired the user should have gotten a message to get a new link. Instead, it allowed them to open the account and I lost out on about $1,000 referral bonus.

This company has allowed me to save… This company has allowed me to save money especially being a single mother with 5 kids and raising my brother's 3 children also. So this company has made me be able to save a little at a time. Eventually it all adds up. Thank you Acorns.

Many ways to save with Acorn I’ve had an Acorn account for more than 3 years now. I read about it in an AARP magazine. Once I tried it I got hooked. I have direct withdrawals from my checking account of $20 per week, then I forget about it. Out of the sudden I need extra money, and Acorn saves my day all the time.

They are holding my money hostage They are holding my money hostage. I’ve had an Acorns account for a long time now. I have built up quite a stack and need to access the funds. I closed the bank account I initially had connected and am trying to link another account. Acorns keeps saying I need to verify my bank information, and I’ve sent the information three times. They keep sending the same message, and now they say they need the bank documents from Wells Fargo, which is a closed account, and I’d have to call the bank and wait seven days for them to mail a statement to me. It's already been over seven days trying to verify my account. Ridiculous. I have all the necessary paperwork to verify myself and my current bank. I don’t need to verify an old bank account; I shut down to access my funds. Very frustrating! And they don’t make it easy to contact an actual human being for help.
