Pleasure Working with Neighbors Bank It was a great experience working with Neighbors Bank. My loan officer Tim Vieck was amazing. He was available to answer any questions I had and was always happy to answer. Would recommend.

This is our first time buying a home… This is our first time buying a home and it was extremely easy with Neighbors Bank. I was nervous not knowing what our first steps should be but we were able to close within two weeks! Real estate agents and the title company had never heard of this bank but agreed this was one of the most efficient closings they had experience. No matter how complex your situation is they will help figure things out!

Working with Reed was great Working with Reed was great. He would explain things if I ask and worked tirelessly to make sure our journey ran smoothly. When I had an issue with a loan coordinator he addressed it also and didn't make me feel as if they were better than me. He was patient when certain documents couldn't be obtained and was very reassuring when I was worried about things not betting done by closing.

Nightmare Experience Title: Beware: Nightmare Lending Experience Ahead! I cannot stress this enough: steer clear of Neighbors Bank unless you're in the market for a migraine-inducing, soul-crushing lending experience. My recent encounter with Christian and Caleb left me questioning not only their competence but also their integrity as a financial institution. From the get-go, the process was riddled with incompetence and indifference. It felt like dealing with a bureaucratic nightmare straight out of a Kafka novel. Communication? Non-existent. Transparency? Forget about it. It's as if they take pleasure in keeping you in the dark, leaving you to navigate a labyrinth of confusion and frustration. But wait, it gets worse. The terms and conditions they offered were nothing short of predatory. Hidden fees and straight-out lies lurked around every corner, ready to pounce and devour your hard-earned money. And don't even get me started on the interest rates! It's highway robbery disguised as a lending service. To add insult to injury, their customer service was abysmal. When I tried to address my concerns, I was met with dismissiveness and condescension. It's as if they couldn't care less about my experience or satisfaction as a customer. It's evident that their priorities lie not in serving their clients but in lining their own pockets at the expense of others' financial well-being. In conclusion, save yourself the headache and heartache by avoiding Neighbors Bank like the plague. There are plenty of reputable lending institutions out there that actually value their customers and offer fair and transparent terms. Don't let yourself fall victim to the predatory practices of this deplorable excuse for a lending company. You deserve better.

If time is of the essence, look elsewhere… The home mortgage appraisal took over two weeks longer than promised. The buyers were putting 50% down, yet the bank’s underwriters were asking probing questions about their own appraiser’s findings causing more delays, even after the initial two week delay. The entire process was overly burdensome and they really need to refine their processes. There was way too much banking red tape given the parameters of this transaction.
