Overall Good Experience Overall, I am very pleased. I made an error in the spelling of the recipient's name with my first transfer, and had to contact customer service to get it changed. The error came about through differences in transliteration from one alphabet to another. Remitly was able to help me with that and my friend received the funds promptly. The system is well suited for making repeated transfers to the same party, which is what I need it for. It is not as quick as other services, but it is less expensive, and gives a good exchange rate in India. My only criticism at this point is that although I provided the recipient's cell phone number and requested they receive text notifications, they have informed me they have never received a text from Remitly. I've no idea why this has not occurred, but it has not created a problem, and I've not submitted an inquiry to Remitly about it.
