I didn’t have to do anything except sign papers. They got in touch with my insurance company, had a notary come to me and was either a text or phone call away for any questions I had. The process was very quick as well. From start to finish was only a few weeks for me. This all happened at a time I was in financial need as my cancer diagnosis was a surprise and then even more a surprise to find it had metastasized. Our income couldn’t cover the growing medical bills and travel expenses we were incurring. Thanks to American Life Fund I was able to get ahead and have funds to continue my treatment.
