I did not even know where to start to… I did not even know where to start to find the advisor I needed for my situation. Paul with Zoe did a wonderful job asking me questions to gather all the necessary information to set me up with the right advisors to talk with. They were both a very strong match for my situation. Preston was on top of things sending meeting reminders with the zoom links for easy access and touching base after each meeting with the advisor to see how I felt. Those two made this process very easy and I am sure I am coming out with a better advisor than I would have ended up with if I did it on my own. I hope I am right and am ready to get started with the new advisor.

Off to a Good Start I appreciated getting the call from Brooke Thomas to further refine what I was looking for in an advisor. Wish there were more female and POC… Wish there were more female and POC advisors to choose from. I interviewed three FAs (two white men, one white woman). They were all professional, but one of the men seemed unsure of how to connect with me because my wealth was (1) not generational and (2) not in the millions…yet. I ended up choosing a female FA because she was interested in helping with my life goals and retirement timeline just as much as my fiancé’s.
